Importance of UI/UX design

Bytym 21/08/202321/08/2023
In an increasingly competitive market, one of the main features that can make the difference in the development of our applications is the user experience while using it.

Considering user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design is very important when developing any type of application. Both can be critical factors in the user experience, so companies who don’t put attention to them are in a huge disadvantage compared to their competition.

UI : User Interface Design

This is the first thing a user sees when the application is initiated. We should strive for a nice, visually pleasing design that captures our attention and invites us to interact with it. If the interface is not visually attractive, it will be easier that users leave it before they can fully explore it. A well-designed interface is able to reflect the corporate identity and create a comfortable and coherent experience. However, UI alone does not guarantee a positive experience; this is where UX comes into play.

UX : User Experience

Its purpose is to make the application simple, intuitive and comfortable. A good user experience will help users to navigate easily and find what they are looking for quickly. It involves factors such as usability, accessibility, smooth navigation and, in general, user satisfaction. In contrast to UI, which focuses mainly on visuals, UX includes more extensive and emotional factors.

Unity is strength

Although UI and UX are different concepts, they need each other to achieve the best application. An attractive UI may catch the attention of users, but it is the UX that retains them and creates a connection. UI works as the first attraction, while UX is the one that retains the user.

At TYM, we know the importance of a good design and a comfortable user experience in any application development, so we always do a detailed study to ensure the best design and functionality. We work on every detail, from the color and typography selection to the layout of on-screen elements, in order to provide users with an optimal experience.
