Prevention
Given the unstoppable rise of cyberattacks, prevention is no longer optional: it is essential. Companies and organizations must build a layered security strategy with continuous visibility and real anticipation capabilities. Check Point Software highlights several key recommendations for strengthening cyber resilience in the face of the current threat landscape:
Prioritize prevention
Investing in advanced technologies—such as intrusion prevention systems (IPS), anti-ransomware solutions, and threat intelligence—enables you to block and prevent attacks before it’s too late.
Strengthen network and device security
Implementing next-generation firewalls, protecting email, and deploying endpoint protection platforms helps dramatically reduce the attack surface.
Train your team
Awareness is a vital defense. Conducting regular training sessions and simulated phishing exercises empowers staff to detect and report suspicious behavior.
Ensure effective backups
Having up-to-date, segmented backups and proven recovery plans ensures a rapid response to incidents such as ransomware.
Apply a Zero Trust philosophy
Limiting privileges, segmenting access, and constantly verifying permissions reduces the risk of lateral movement within the network.
Stay up to date
Keeping up with industry alerts is essential to staying ahead of emerging threats.
Protecting your business or organization today means acting before something happens. The combination of technology, processes, and equipment is what makes the difference between being vulnerable… or being prepared.
